The PSuFONs project aims to enhance climate-smart agriculture and livestock farming to improve food and nutrition security in Moyamba and Karene districts. Farmers in these areas report decreasing yields and soil fertility amid changing environmental conditions. The community’s heavy reliance on conventional agriculture, exacerbated by limited access to inputs such as fertilizers, improved seeds, financing, and agricultural knowledge, contributes to low productivity and heightened food insecurity, especially in the face of climate change.
Within the PSuFONs project, MADAM cooperates with a variety of ministries, departments, and agencies, including local chiefdoms and district councils.
